Toddler Tales (14): The Acrobat

When I signed up to be a mom, I had no idea that my job profile would include 'stunt coordinator'. With Little Dude getting more adventurous, that's exactly what I end up doing most of the time! I try not to stop him from experimenting and exploring as much as I can, but sometimes, that involves standing by as he precariously perches on spots I have never noticed in the house! These are really anxious times for me because I am afraid to leave him alone for more than a few minutes. I have no idea what new 'idea' will pop into his head and he'll try it out. But I must mention that he is sensible too. He did manage to fall off the sofa once during these exploits, unfortunately. He learned a lesson and didn't try to climb that spot again! I continue to be amazed at how fast he is growing up and displaying 'older' behaviour.

P.S: If you haven't already, see the first in my Countdown to 2 series for his second birthday!

(Toddler Tales are snippets of what I'm learning every day from my little one.)

Such a boy thing! I've had friends with boys climbing out of windows, you need eyes in the back of your head.

You know my boy is trying various yoga poses or so it seems these days. He'd balance on his bum with his legs in the air or sometimes I catch him stretching his body up with his hands and feet touching the ground. its so funny!
