Some beauty, lots of fun at Heritage Village, Manesar

We just returned from almost a month-long trip back home to India.  This time, we couldn't do much travelling within the country because there were a lot of family and relatives to catch up with, and Little Dude didn't keep well for the last ten days. We did, however, manage to sneak in a weekend trip to the suburbs of our capital city, New Delhi (where we stay). It was almost like a staycation, being only an hour's drive from home. All we were looking for was a change of scenery from the city with some old friends, so Heritage Village Resort & Spa Manesar was a good choice.

The resort is based on palatial architecture, and luxury was on display everywhere. Our rooms were spacious, overlooking the lavish gardens. The courtyard was beautiful and elegant.

The huge garden was a delight for all the children, and Little Dude was happy running about in the winter sun. It was really one of those moments that are hard to forget. Kids need so little to have a good time, and just watching them play made us parents feel relaxed.

Of course, the children had to explore every corner of the place!

The beauty of the resort was de-stressing, to the say the least. The food was fit for kings, and we were entertained by a karaoke session and some party music to dance to!

If you are in Delhi with little time to travel, the Heritage Village makes for a wonderful getaway.

This looks like such a wonderful place. Your photos are fantastic. I especially love those last two photos of the gardens. I so badly want to visit India, but I don't think I will be able to for several more years yet.

It really does look amazing there! I'd love to go there one day, maybe when the kiddies are a bit older and travelling isn't such a mission :-)
