Private beach at Oceanic Khorfakkan

The beaches at Dubai are undoubtedly beautiful, but we were lucky to visit the pristine beaches on the East coast of the UAE last weekend. In the small town of Khorfakkan, we stayed at a beach resort with this amazing private beach. There were rocky mountains on one  end, and the water was a lovely aquamarine. It was definitely a different shade than what we see in Dubai, probably because this water is from the Gulf of Oman, while Dubai opens out into the Persian Gulf. We had a great time lazing on this beach and generally soaking in the beauty of this picturesque town!
