Eight Creative Recycled Crafts for Kids

Never has junk looked so appealing to me since I started doing crafts with Little Dude. If you think about it long enough, you can re-use and recycle almost anything to make a fun craft with kids. We have a good collection of recycled crafts in our Busy Hands series, and I thought I'd share a few of our best!
1. Use old newspaper to make this paper plate Planet Earth. It's perfect as a learning activity and highlights the importance of resusing and recycling.
2. A plastic soda bottle can be converted into this Lighthouse Craft. It's pretty easy to make.
3. Does your kid like farm animals? Save those eggshells to make a Textured Baby Chick craft.
4. Plastic egg boxes can be used for learning activities like Pasta Counting or as disposable paint pots. You can also use them to make this cute Alligator Puppet.
5. An clear plastic juice bottle makes a great Penguin Snow Globe. We loved making this one!
6. If your kid likes bugs, this Magazine Collage Caterpillar is a fun craft made from old magazines. It's inspired from one of our favourite books, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
7. We used plastic milk bottle tops to make these Bottle Top Spiders, and also used them for our Incy Wincy Spider Craft.
8. My son loved this Cardboard Box Bus made from an old biscuit box. He spent many happy hours playing with it!

The spider craft one is my favourite! I've got a thing for incy wincy spider at the moment! #LetKidsBeKids
Love them all, but I think the penguin snow globe is my favourite.
