Busy Hands: Weather Cards

Little Dude likes doing crafts independently these days. So, when we made these weather cards, I let him take the lead, with a little guidance from me. These cards are great for discussing and learning about different types of weather.
To make these weather cards, we cut a blue A4 sized sheet into four. I cut out two circles for the sun. We used one to make a Sunny Day, and he drew the sun's rays with a crayon.
For the Cloudy Day, we hid the sun behind the cotton clouds. I drew an outline of the cloud in pencil, and he glued on the cotton.
For the Windy Day and Rainy Day, we made similar cotton clouds. I asked Little Dude to draw his interpretation of rain and wind. He used the darker blue crayon for rain, and the lighter blue for wind.
I love how this is a project he did mostly on his own. We glued the cards on to a white cardboard, and use a wooden peg to mark what kind of weather it is outside!
