Busy Hands: Bubble Wrap Shape Prints

Did you know it's Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day today? It made me realize that we've never used bubble wrap in art project, although Little Dude has used it for painting in preschool. So, in honour of bubble wrap and fun art for kids everywhere, we're sharing our own bubble wrap activity.

Fun art activity for toddlers and preschoolers using bubble wrap!

For this Bubble Wrap Shape Printing activity, we first cut out simple shapes from bubble wrap. You can trace the shapes with a marker on to the wrap first to make the cutting easier.

Little Dude used a brush to paint each shape and print it on to the paper. We did this activity on the easel, but you can also do it on a flat surface.

It was fun using different colours for the shapes and identifying them in the process.
