Busy Hands: Paper Plate Apple Craft
Since my son started kindergarten, we've been having less time for crafts, what with all the new things he's learning in school. But we do sneak in a few crafts when we can! So when he was home unwell one day, we made this apple craft that's simple, yet engaging.
I cut out an apple shape from a paper plate. It wasn't a very accurate shape, but that doesn't make much of a difference as long as the activity is fun!
He painted it red, and then we cut out the stem and leaf from card paper and he painted them too. After the paint dries, we stuck the parts together.
I like the ease of doing this craft. It would be great for a rainy day, and even toddlers could make it.
Hope your kids have fun with it too!
