Discovering fun at Little Explorers, Dubai Marina Mall

We are regular visitors to Little Explorers at Mirdif City Centre, Dubai. The place has a great concept of edutainment for young kids to explore and discover various concepts related to science and the world around us. So, it was a pleasure to know that Little Explorers is now open at another location - Dubai Marina Mall.

The bright interiors are familiar here, and the place is divided into three areas - Space, Water, and Play.

Naturally for my Little Dude, the Space area was the biggest attraction. It is designed as a kind of lunar base with a rocket ship, space 'rocks' (silver and white balls), and other equipment. Kids have fun loading the balls on a conveyor belt, and then carting them to the ship.

Inside, it's even more fascinating. You can do a countdown blast, and talk to your space cadres through video consoles.

The water area has displays demonstrating different properties of water. This, of course, is done in a playful way and kids don't even realize how much they're learning about flotation, water flow, and more.

The play area has a car that inquisitive kids can tinker with. There are many other displays that allow them to experiment with air, voice, speed, and touch.

They also have gross motor activities to get the kids moving, and memory games to get them thinking. Little Dude tried each thing!

That's really the best thing about Little Explorers. Compared to soft play areas, this place makes them think and learn, and of course, play.

Little Explorers also hosts workshops, which cost extra from the entry fee. We attended one where the theme was Insects. The staff was quite friendly and helpful with the kids. It's interesting to know that the staff here, known as Animators, are qualified in early education.

We'll probably we heading there again! Make sure you're following me on Instagram to see our updates.

The entry fee for a Day Pass is AED 140. I found this to be a bit expensive, considering how much smaller this branch is from the older one. For more details on pricing, visit their website.

Head on to Little Explorers at Dubai Marina Mall with your kids, and I'm sure they'll be happy to spend a couple of hours there, while you catch a movie at the cinemas next door!

We were invited to visit Little Explorers, but all views and opinions are solely my own.
