Busy Hands: DIY Truck Puzzle

One thing that Little Dude has always been in love with are trucks. Since he was a toddler, he likes all kinds of trucks. So, when we thought of making a simple DIY shape puzzle, it had to be of a truck!

Make this simple DIY puzzle to form a truck. Great to teach kids about shapes!

This puzzle is so easy to make, but it's so versatile because you can teach shapes, counting, sorting, and other skills to toddlers and preschoolers with it.

To make the Truck Puzzle, we first cut out the basic shapes with corrugated cardboard. I chose this material because it's thick and great for little hands to pick and use.

Then, we glued on coloured paper to the shapes. Kids can even paint or colour them in with a crayon - that will just make the activity more fun!
